Scallop Circle Card -- Moon Doggie

Whoa! Someone needs to tell me where the time goes! I still have two baby shower cards to make and the weekend is essentially over. This one is for a card workshop/gathering I have next week. Hope you enjoy it!

I wanted to use a brad next to the Y in "You're Special" -- but it's for a gathering and I didn't have 15 of the right color! {sigh}
Thanks for looking. Have a great week!

  5. Hi Margo, I just found your blog on the artwork BB and wanted to say Hi and let you know I am now a follower. I have a blog too, it is pandascrapper.blogspot.com. Drop by and say hi, if you get a chance. I read where you didn't have enough brads of one color for your card at a workshop. I have found that when I don't have the right color or enough brads or don't want the bulk under a small piece of cardstock I use my hole punch. There are several steps involved, but it is a nice technique to share: use an 1/8 inch punch for a "small brad" and the 1/4 inch punch for a "larger brad", I then go around the edge where our white core shows through with a marker of the same color as the CS, not really necessary, then I put a drop of liquid glass on and set it aside. Once dry I turn the "brad" over and using a toothpick dipped in a liquid glue pick up the brad, turn it over and place it where I want, sliding it off the toothpick with a thumb or finger nail. Or place the "brad" then put the Liquid Glass on it. Hope you find this idea helpful.
